Registry services only

Pacific Private Nursing is being developed as a California nurses' registry and nurse-matching service serving Orange County and surrounding areas. The registry helps patients and families seek independently practicing, California-licensed registered nurses for private-duty nursing assignments.

Pacific Private Nursing is not a home health agency, hospital, medical practice, urgent care center, emergency service, or health insurance provider. Pacific Private Nursing does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, employ physicians, or replace a patient's physician, surgeon, hospital, or emergency care.

Each assigned registered nurse must practice within the nurse's individual license, competence, lawful scope of practice, applicable professional standards, and any orders or instructions required from the patient's treating healthcare provider.

Independently practicing nurses

Nurses accepting registry assignments are intended to provide services as independent professionals. Each nurse remains responsible for maintaining an active California license and required professional liability insurance, determining whether an assignment is professionally appropriate, complying with applicable orders and professional standards, maintaining required records, and protecting patient confidentiality.

Counsel review required: The final worker-classification description must match Pacific's contracts, payment practices, supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day operations before publication.

No guarantee of placement or availability

Submitting a patient request does not guarantee nurse availability or that Pacific Private Nursing will accept or fill the requested assignment. Submitting an RN application does not guarantee acceptance, employment, referrals, assignments, hours, or income.

Medical emergencies

Pacific Private Nursing is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use an online form to request emergency assistance.

Privacy and document submission

Do not send medical records, government identification, Social Security numbers, banking information, payment-card information, or other sensitive information through ordinary email or a public website form. If sensitive information is required after an initial review, Pacific Private Nursing will provide instructions for an authorized secure submission method.

Complaints

Complaints concerning licensed nursing personnel may be submitted to the appropriate licensing board and government agencies. These contacts must be reverified immediately before publication and before delivery of the required patient disclosure.
