After eligibility review and legal approval, an authorized patient or representative may receive a private invitation to complete intake. The public preliminary request will remain separate and will not collect medical records.
Planned secure intake
- Patient and authorized-representative identity verification
- Required agreements, registry disclosure, and privacy acknowledgements
- Care instructions, orders, discharge documents, and other approved records
- Assignment scheduling and authorized communications
- Hosted invoice or deposit payment link, if the approved business model requires it
Required protections before activation
- Invitation-only accounts, multifactor authentication, and minimum-necessary access
- Encryption, audit history, malware scanning, retention limits, backups, and secure deletion
- Separate protected storage; no medical files or card data in the public inquiry database
- HIPAA/CMIA assessment, approved privacy documents, incident response, and required vendor agreements
- Payment processor hosts card entry; Pacific does not store card numbers or security codes
