After legal approval and vendor security review, invited nurses will use a private account to complete credentialing. The public interest application will remain separate from this portal.
Planned credential checklist
- Identity and contact verification
- California RN license and disciplinary-status verification
- BLS/CPR and approved clinical credentials
- Professional liability insurance evidence
- Background-check authorization through an approved vendor
- Approved tax and payment documents based on the final worker classification
- Signed Nurse Registry Agreement and required notices
Required protections before activation
- Invitation-only accounts, multifactor authentication, and role-based access
- Encryption, audit history, malware scanning, retention limits, and secure deletion
- Separate storage for documents; no credential files in the public inquiry database
- Approved privacy notices, consent language, incident response, and vendor contracts
